Well hello hello, long while since I updated isn't it? That's generally because nothing, and I mean nothing, really happens. Yes my life is somewhat dull but I rather like it like that. And then there's the fact I have an LJ and most of the life stuff goes in there. So yes there's never really much use for my DA journal.

But today I just feel like leaving some rambles. It at least gets the last meme off my front page
Soooo, what to say. Hmm...
Well, as of this morning I finally completed the Spiron X doujinshi. Hooray. So if you're in New Zealand and are going to Doujinshi Overload go find =Rinree and check it out. It's called Storm. And obviously pick up her collab doujinshi with ~Vendicare too. And maybe the calendar as well Go on, you know you want to...though I guess you need to be a BL fan really...
But yes, finished it and am so proud. It is the longest comic I've ever done...by two pages but whatever. And it contained my first ever battle scene, which is very amateurish indeed but I still think it could have been a lot worse. I was happy with most of it ^^

Um, what else. Oooh, anime! I've been watching quite a bit of anime this summer...and a fair bit when I should have been working ;;
So I've been watching Soul Eater, which is awesome. Incredibly funny at points and all the characters are likable, even REALLY annoying people like Black Star. Death the Kid just cracks me up with his ridiculous obsession with symmetry. And I just love Shinigami-sama. He's brilliant So yes, liking that very much at the moment. Currently waiting on the subs for episode 15. Eee, can't wait
Then there's Ouran High School Host Club. My friend ~bishieaya has been wanting me to watch it for ages so I finally got around to it. Again, awesome! I can see why it's so popular all over DA I really enjoyed it. And for a change I didn't cry all through the end XD;;; Though I'll admit I was fairly close. My favourite character is Tamaki. He's just...an idiot but he means well. And you just want to hug him towards the end and go 'AWWWWWWWW'. Yeeeeup, crazy fangirl right here. I'll admit I like Kyouya too though, partly because he wears glasses and I am a sucker for guys with glasses >~>;;; but also because he's manipulative. I like evil characters just as much as nice guys. He amuses me. And pairings wise I'm a Tamaki/Haruhi girl. And a Mori/Hunny girl.
I liked the series so much I've ordered the first 3 volumes of the manga...which I shouldn't have done because I'm trying to be sensible with my money...Oh well, no chance of that I guess. Need to go back to uni so I can restrain myself better...but then again I'm right by Borders and temptation is greater...nyah, no! Must save money for food.
I also want to get the DVDs when they come out. I know from the promo videos on the FUNimation website that the English dub is being released in the US in October but I don't know about over here T_T Hopefully the same time. And I think I'll be okay with the dub cast. I've seen other animes that each of the cast members has been in so I think it'll be fine. Only one I'm a bit dubious on is Haruhi's voice. But I don't know. I shall have to wait and see. It may grow on me.

Erm...artwork is still gonna be a bit scattered at the moment. I'm working on bits and pieces here and there so stuff is in the works. It's just a little slow since I've been taking long breaks away from my laptop because of all the SX work I've been doing. And I'll be busy between next Thursday and...Monday I think because I have guests ^_____^ Yay. So I'll probably be officially back in August but I make no definite plans since they always fall through somewhere.

Uh, yeah okay I'm now drawing blanks as to what else to ramble on so I shall shut up now.
